Here a pup goes down an elevator, through a glass door, onto the street and across railroad tracks. Exposure to various surfaces, textures, noises, etc is vital to preparing the pups for their role as a guide. Repetition, gentle encouragement, and lots of praise result in a much more confident puppy.

Elevators, stairwells, and metal, marble or granite staircases such as this are wonderful and accessible training areas to help expose the puppies to the various entryways and elevation changes they may encounter in the future. .
