I was multi-tasking by reading emails on my laptap and watching TV. My dad sent me a link with a comment "check out this amazing dog"! The link opened to a video which at first glance, looked like a normal, happy dog named Chika playing fetch . And then the owner explains to the audience this playful dog is completely blind and has been since birth when it's eyes were surgically removed. Yet, he can play fetch, return the ball to his owner and run around the farm as if he's sighted.
The experts don't know how he does it. Staff at Purdue University are trying to determine the "how". Could it be some sort of "radar"? No one knows at this point, but watch this happy boy play.
